Announcing one of Dark Arbor Lodge’s efforts for 2023, the Baba Yaga Hut Challenge!

Several DAL members will be challenging themselves to make a Baba Yaga Hut this year. Inspired in no small part by member Derek Tall’s recent model, a bunch of us want to try our hand at one. AND, we’re opening up the challenge to all of our followers as well! We’ll be posting our progress as we go on Facebook and Instagram, so feel free to join in the fun and build a hut of your own and share your progress here on Dark Arbor Lodge’s Facebook page. This is just a personal challenge, not a contest with winners or prizes. We just want to create collectively to a themed challenge.

Rules (pretty simple):

Create a model of Baba Yaga’s Hut in whatever materials and whatever scale you want.
Have fun! This is all about everyone’s individual interpretation and personal style, so make your hut your hut!

The Challenge starts NOW

Finish by mid-September. Dark Arbor Lodge is hoping to do another art show in October and we want to have a corner of the show be the Challenge corner featuring all of our huts, so we need to be done before then. Hopefully, for any of you taking up the challenge, we may be able to feature photos of your own huts so that you can be a part of the show.
