DARK ARBOR LODGE PRESENTS

INNSMOUTH

Friday October 3rd, 4:00pm-9:00pm
Upstairs at Sam’s Billiards, 1845 NE 41st Ave PDX

The fictional town of Innsmouth is the setting for horror novelist H.P. Lovecraft’s classic tale The Shadow Over Innsmouth (1936). In tandem with the annual H.P. Lovecraft Film Festival, the artists of the mysterious Dark Arbor Lodge will be bringing you an exhibition of Innsmouth-themed art and wares.

The members of Dark Arbor Lodge have had their work featured in such films/shows as American Gods, The Gremlins, Grimm, and The Fly. Expect far more than paintings mounted on walls - this is going to be closer to a walk-through haunted house than a stuffy art gallery.

Pieces on display will range the gamut of art media, ranging from life-size statues, to curious eldritch jewelry, to busts, 2D portraits, prosthetics on live models, and even fully functioning, purchasable interior design items. Of course, it wouldn’t be a proper horror exhibit without a chance encounter with one of the locals. Warning: it has a mind of its own.

This event will be open to the public, with ticketed entry required. Food and drink can be purchased at the first-floor bar of Sam’s Billiards. Ticket and art sales go toward keeping the Dark Arbor Lodge alive and ready to return with more haunts.
